Ramadan is a spiritual month full of blessings, happiness and extra devotion. To help make sure you’re fully prepared, we’ve mentioned some key dates below.

The month of Ramadan is based on the Islamic Hijri calendar, which follows the lunar cycle. For this reason, the month of Ramadan starts ten days earlier in the Gregorian calendar each year. This year, it is set to start on the eve of Sunday, 10th March 2024, with the first fast starting on the day of Monday, 11th March 2024.

Tuesday 9th, or Wednesday 10th of April, subject to moon sighting.

Eid al-Fitr

Eid ul-Fitr is the celebration after Ramadan. It means the Eid of breaking the fast, signifying the end of the sacred fasting month.

This year, Eid ul-Fitr will fall on Tuesday 9th April, or Wednesday 10th April, subject to moonsighting.
