Muslim Welfare Canada launched a Free Medical Clinic in Scarborough in 2009, followed by a second in Mississauga in 2015. These clinics serve uninsured individuals including new immigrants, refugees, students, and visitors. Medical staff work voluntarily, and the clinics partner with local healthcare providers for affordable services. While focusing on non-emergency care, patients needing critical attention are directed to local hospitals.

MWC has provided emergency shelter to 19,500+ women and their children since 1996.

MWC has provided free healthcare services to over 10,000 individuals since 2009.
Muslim Welfare Canada established a Free Medical Clinic for the uninsured in Scarborough in 2009. A second clinic opened in Mississauga in the Fall of 2015.
The clinics are open once a week per clinic, a total of 96 days, and patients are encouraged to book an appointment.
Over 1,000,000 dollars worth of services a year is offered for free from the volunteer doctors and nurses to the labs, pharmacies and equipment
