Arctic Food Bank
The Arctic Food Bank supports communities in Canada's northern regions like Inuvik and Iqaluit, where food insecurity is extreme due to high costs and limited access. Since 2015, it has distributed over $2,000,000 in food aid, providing essential relief to families in need. It’s the only Muslim-run food bank in Canada’s North, playing a key role in addressing hunger and food insecurity in these remote areas.
Regent Park Meals
The Regent Park Meals program offers restaurant-style halal meals every weekend to over 500 residents in Regent Park, Toronto. Since 2014, the program has served more than 150,000 meals, fostering community and providing vital food assistance.
Malvern Eats
Malvern Eats provides hot meals every Wednesday to residents in Scarborough’s Malvern area, including seniors and single-parent families. Since its launch in 2016, the program has served over 70,000 meals, promoting community well-being and food security.
Senior Meals on Wheels
MWC’s Senior Meals on Wheels has delivered over 400,000 meals to low-income seniors since 2013, helping them stay nourished and healthy. This program offers critical support to the elderly, reducing isolation and ensuring they have access to nutritious meals.
Public School
Nutrition Program
The Public School Nutrition Program serves breakfast and snacks to students in high-need areas across 28 schools in the Greater Toronto Area. Since 2010, it has played a crucial role in fighting child hunger and improving students' well-being and academic performance.
